Cant upload avatar

I want to change my avatar, never had a problem before, and although I have reduced it down to a minute file size I keep getting the message that my file does not meet the right requirements, I cant even reload my old one which was fine previously.

I had a problem too. I had to make it a PNG file before it was small enough. Try changing the file name of your old avatar. I've been on forums before where if you alter th file and don't change the name, it doesn't recognise the newly saved file.
