Been looking around at the drawings and find I'm unable to give any constructive criticism so far as you all seem to be fantastic artists with such high levels of skill.

Hi Everyone!

I just joined the forum yesterday. I'm so glad it's here - thank you so much JD and Mike!!! Drawing is a big part of my life and I have learned so much from JD and Mike over the years and I'm so glad that those of us who work primarily in pencil still have a place that WE can call HOME!!! Though I love other mediums, pencil/graphite art has always been a passion of mine, and though I have tried other mediums; well, I always go back to what I'm most comfortable with - drawing is a part of who I am.

I look forward to seeing the work and meeting up with old friends and I am anxious to meeting and making new ones. I am now including animals in my repertoire - though I find them challenging. I hope to see lots of work in progress images and as I continue to grow and learn as an artist.

Thank you again JD and Mike for creating this forum!!!!

~Ricky :D

Late as usual, but now I'm here everyone can relax. Unfortunately I haven't picked up a drawing pencil in almost a year but am getting the urge again....

Good to see a lot of old friends here!

Don't feel bad Kenny... I'm really late. An artist friend told me about this forum and just had to come check it out. I'm seeing some familiar names here... Lonnie, HI and David Thompsen (sic). Two very fine artist. I might be over my head here but OMG I will enjoy drooling and oogling over some fine, fine work. So many different educational topics to read. This experience should be very, very enlightening.

Yes Peggy and welcome again. This is the best drawing forum around as far as I know. Many here came from the old Artpapa site which was the the best for years. There are masters here and do magic with pencils! And we are here to help one another get better.

Enjoy!

P.S. I have finally picked up the pencils after a year or so an started a new drawing in the last month. I'm shooting for finishing it by the end of the year, but time is drawing short......
