PS. If anyone has not checked out Laurene's blog would highly recommend you do. Her video presentations are beautifully done. And you can also pick up information and tips for your own work...Thanks Laurene
Thank you kindly Bob.

Again, photo...(while balancing on stepladder) :o
    There must be an easier way!! :D

Well, you've certainly added to the story Bob! That area in the lower right-hand corner gives it a new spin for me. Ok, this may be my Catholic upbringing showing, but I see a baptism in the lower right which is symbolised by the road leading out of the wilderness on the left hand side. The road leads to the chalice which embodies the Saviour, represented by the Crown of Thorns. The dove is the Holy Spirit which acts as a bridge between the earth and the Lord. This is the story I see as influenced by my Catholic school instruction.

I have to tell you that religion doesn't play a huge role in my life at this stage but I find your drawing very inspirational. There's a feeling of peace that comes across and your composition keeps us engaged in the story. Congratulations!!

Question: You had mentioned that the mouth of the cup was in for a big change. Have you changed your mind? Honestly, I like it the way it is. The whitest areas keep our eyes moving from the river to the cup to the dove to the crown.

Kenny, thank you.... Man of few words speaks many volumes.

And for you...

Within these wrinkles of age
Lie miles of knowledge that glistens
For all that are young
That will stop, pause and listen

Laurene, there was a great struggle over the cup, I was thinking of doing it with colored pencil in a dark wine color but thought it took away from the drawing.
thought about your suggestion leaving it white but will end up with a compromise...hope you will like it.

By the way you made the Nuns proud. ;)

That definitely completes the story! I get a sense of hope and now of rebirth when I look at this. Your composition will elicit strong emotion from viewers and that's what it's all about. Congratulations Bob!

Laurene, Cannot thank you enough for your support. Drawing is a never ending road but it's folks like you (and others on TDF) who are willing to share their expertise that help keep us between the white lines.
