Hi Artur, Laurene, Kenny, and Garry.
As usual I really want to thank you for your comments.
It's always a pleasure to receive some feedback from other artists!
Unfortunately I had to stop working on that.
I'm very busy with my job and even during the weekend I had to travel.
It's really sad to look at the empty drawing desk and realize that you don't have time to draw...
I hope to find soon some free time to start working again.
Thanks everyone.

Bye
Daniele

I don't know nothing about other artists, but I do understand your feelings very very well Daniele.
Apart of my working hours, I've got our dog to look after, and the house maintenance too...
I've got lovely wife, but she's also complains when I'm drawing... There is always something else my wife needs me to do... I know exactly what the life is like ;)
This is why I were planning my latest drawing to finish in one month.., it's over two months and it's not finished ;(
All the best Daniele.

Hello!
First of all, I want to thanks everyone for the encouraging messages!
Fortunately I freed up some time during the weekend to keep on working on my cheetah and I eventually completed the head.
Here is a closeup.
Next step is to draw the rock.
Still not completely sure about the background...

Thanks for the comments and criticisms.

P.S. Sorry for the bad quality but I took the pic with my Iphone...

Bye

Especially your skills of drawing fur are amazing Daniele ;)
The moisture-like details on the nose and the lips are amazing! The eyes catching attention ...
I'm happy with you, that you've managed to carry on drawing, this update was long awaiting ;)

Thanks Laurene and Artur.
I always appreciate your wonderful comments.
It's finally weekend...so I'm back at my desk trying to put all my energies into this work.
I'm drawing the rock now and I have to say that the texture is not so simple as I thought.
At this stage I'm using a blending stump, General's graphite powder, and blutack.
Here is an update that I took with my phone.

Bye and thanks again.

If I can be of any help ...
Daniele are you aware of Laser Drum Scanner ?
I'm using it to scan my drawings...
It's not cheap, and I have to send it by post or have a trip to scan it at that place, it's one hour trip one way...
So I'm sending ;)
Nevertheless ;)
As far as I know there is not better option to scan perfectly our art drawings than Laser Drum Scanner ;)
If you first time hear about it, go online, read description what is it, then find it in Italy and start using it ;)
You'll get perfect and detailed scan copy of your art drawings, it'll be digital copy on CD, and you can use it as many times as you wish to ;)
The Laser Drum Scanner will give you original drawing like quality .
All the best and congratulation on Cheetah !!!

Thanks a lot for your tip Artur
It shouldn't be very hard to find someone of such sanners in Rome.
My real problem is to decide what to do with the artwork after scanning... :?:
I mean, I just draw for hobby and because I like it.
Every time I finish a work my wife asks me: "and now? What are you going to do with this drawing? Are you going to sell it or expose it? Or simply, are you going to store it with all your previous works?"
:D
Well, may be this time I'll take this hobby more seriously...
I don't have any experience with art selling or expos but there comes a time when you got to learn...!

Thanks Artur!
Bye

When I started drawing, soon after I had a dream to draw commissions, to earn some money Daniele...
I still live that dream ;)
And I headding that direction every time and then...
For now it's only dream worth to dream it ;)
But who knows?
People saying if you working hard and keep dreaming who knows?, one day your dream may come true ;)
I wish you that ;)
I've made already some little steps.
Have you noticed my website went live few days ago?
This is what I do my friend...
I keep drawing, and making some steps to make my dream come true...
I'm unable to draw as good as you drawing at the moment, so I'm still keep practising Daniele, but you've got great talent and your skills are amazing already, so start making some steps as I do, to make your dreams come true ;)
Good luck !

Here it is.
That's the result after scanning.
I'm really satisfied also because it's my first large drawing.
Hope you like it.

Thanks for your comments and criticisms.
