Resting Tiger Cub

Postby onlypencil » Mon Dec 26, 2016 10:28 am

This is a new commission I just finished fora client. It's based off an old drawing that measured 5"x7". This new drawing measures 11"x14" and is done on Bristol vellum. I have always enjoyed drawing tigers and this was no exception. I hope you like it, thanks for watching!

Gorgeous! I feel rather silly with my pathetic try of a leopard, that was a children's drawing to this piece of art! May I ask how you did the whiskers?

Lisandro, this is stunningly beautiful! It shows your complete mastery of the medium - and of the compositional balance. Excuse me while I go back and drool over it :)

Absolutely fantastic piece of drawing. Just picking myself up off the floor. I love the blurred background.

Lisandro, you are one of the artists I have looked up to for many years now. I discovered your drawings about 10 years ago as a teenager and was enthralled with the level of detail and realism you achieve in each piece. Studying your work and following your tutorials has helped me break through many barriers over the years and I will be forever grateful for that.

Your work continues to amaze and inspire. Thank you for sharing this beautiful drawing with us!!!
