Adult Lion

Postby KrissyNZ » Sat Jan 07, 2017 5:58 am

Hi everyone, this drawing has been on my wall of unfinished drawings for 6 years. I think I finally have the skill to complete it after my last two dog drawings! We shall see. This will be a slow-going project as I have a few other ones on the go too. I've put an hour and a half into it today to get me excited about it again!!

The reference photo is from a lady on deviantart.com who goes by the alias of allerlei. I got her permission to draw the image back in 2012 so I am looking forward to surprising her with the finished image after all this time!!! Here is a link to the reference image: http://allerlei.deviantart.com/art/Don- ... -207673572

What a wonderful reference photo. This is going to be great! The mouth, teeth, eyes and nose are spot on Krissy. Can't wait to see more!
