The animal and wildlife forum concentrates on drawings of all animals, from domestic pets to wildlife - anything dressed in fur, feathers or scales. The emphasis is on drawing but paintings are also acceptable.

Oh my, it's finally done. :shock: I was starting to think it would haunt me for the rest of my days!! I'm not particularly happy with the outcome but I reached a point mentally where I was really losing the will to live while working on it hah :lol: Just had to get it finished so I could move on.

Next commission is a bearded dragon, thank goodness. I need a break from hair/fur!!

Well for all your frustration with the fur, it certainly doesn't show in the drawing, a beautiful piece of work and as Laurene says you have really captured the happy and cheeky character of the dog!

I saw this on FB Krissy and I'll say it here again. Your drawing is technically superb, but it's that impish quality in his little face that makes this such a wonderful drawing!

Ah thank you both so much! I am pleased with how it turned out, but definitely more pleased that it is over. I learned so much from this and will approach future curly white dogs a bit differently. Thank you for the kind comments :)
